2015-05-29 The HKLPA appoints CK CHO as Honorary Senior Vice President

                The Hong Kong Loss Prevention Association (HKLPA) announces today the appointment of Mr CK CHO as Honorary Senior Vice President.  Mr CHO will act as a Spokesman and play a leading and consultative role in promoting the Association's business.  CK CHO (biography below) expresses his delightfulness and great honour in accepting the honorary appointment and describes the HKLPA as one of the World's leads in re-defining and standardizing the loss prevention practices.  Before joining the Association, Mr CHO gave HKLPA members a lecture on Internal Control Framework in December 2013.

                   Mr CK CHO is an expert consultant in Internal Control and Compliance and provides legal and compliance services to various listed companies in Hong Kong and Singapore.  Formerly, he was a Chief Investigator and the Head of Legal Management Services of Operations Department, Independent Commission against Corruption (ICAC) Hong Kong from 1990 to 2000.  He is the Past President of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Hong Kong Chapter 2007-2008. 

                Mr CHO lectures in Contract Law, Company Law and Human Rights, Criminal Law and Procedures and is a Visiting Law Lecturer of the United International College, Beijing Normal University and of the Division of Business Management, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU).  He was the Subject Convener of Company Law at the Division of Business Management of the HKBU in 2013.

                      Mr CHO was a Programme Consultant and Lecturer of two professional diploma courses on Fraud Risk Management and Internal Control and Auditing held by the School of Professional Continuing School, Chinese University of Hong Kong.  He has conducted training seminars for HKICPA, ACCA, CGA and other accounting associations on Company Law and Criminal Procedures.   Mr CHO is a Fellow of Institute of Directors (IoD) Hong Kong and is an official Training Facilitator of the IoD.  He is a Principal Consultant on Internal Control and Compliance of Vision Skill Consultant Limited and G Li & Company.  He is also an Independent Director of an Investment Committee of a Chinese Family Trust.

                    Mr. Cho is the Founder and Director of CKCHO Limited, which provides investigative and due diligence services on companies and personalities.
