Is there a Certification Board to assess applicants to become Certified LPO®? What is the certification process?
Yes, every Certified LPO® application should go through a Certification Board which is composed of at least four senior core members of the Association (HKLPA). A special meeting will be called to assess application(s) received, in terms of academic qualifications and relevant loss prevention experience. The Board will make a judgement as to whether an applicant possesses the qualities required of him/her to discharge duties as a Certified LPO® and will interview the applicant to support the motion.
